What services does Open for Wedding offer?
Open for Wedding offers nine wedding services: full wedding planning, exclusive location scouting, wedding design consultation, discovery session, pre-wedding final check, honeymoon planning, related events (proposals, engagement parties, bachelor/bachelorette events), photography & video direction, and staff & logistics. Each service can be booked individually or as a complete package.
How much does a wedding planner in Rome cost?
The cost depends on the complexity of the wedding, the number of guests, and the services required. At Open for Wedding, the 90-minute Discovery Session costs €250 and includes vision analysis, budget definition, and a personalized checklist. For full wedding planning we always prepare a tailored quote after the first consultation, with no hidden costs.
Where do you organize weddings? Only in Rome?
Our headquarters are in Rome (Piazzale Luigi Sturzo 15, EUR district), but we organize weddings throughout Italy — Lazio, Tuscany, the Amalfi Coast, Lake Como, the Langhe hills, Sicily, Puglia — and in Europe's most exclusive destinations. We specialize in historic villas, noble palaces, and period venues.
How far in advance should you contact a wedding planner?
Ideally 12–18 months before your wedding date, especially for the most in-demand venues and for weddings between May and September. For more intimate or off-season weddings we can also work with 6 months' notice. For the pre-wedding final check alone, 30–45 days are enough.
Do you organize destination weddings for international couples?
Yes. Our team is bilingual (Italian and English) and regularly works with couples from abroad who want to get married in Italy. We manage everything remotely: video calls, on-site venue visits on your behalf, paperwork and coordination with local vendors, all the way to full day-of supervision.
What does the Full Wedding Planning service include?
Full wedding planning includes: creative concept and personalized moodboard, selection and coordination of all vendors, detailed minute-by-minute timeline, budget and payment management, full day-of coordination, unlimited support via email and phone, rehearsal dinner coordination, and contingency management with an emergency kit.
How does the first consultation work?
The Discovery Session is a 90-minute one-on-one meeting, in person in Rome or via video call, for €250. We analyze your vision, define budget and priorities, evaluate dates, and provide initial venue orientation. You then receive an email follow-up with a summary, recommendations, and a personalized next-steps checklist.
Can you help us find a wedding venue?
Yes, location scouting is one of our flagship services. We have access to over 50 exclusive venues in Italy, including historic villas and palaces not open to the public. The service includes personalized site visits, contract negotiation, logistics analysis, weather contingency planning, and coordination with venue staff.
